我打算在台灣先買Laptop帶過去
目前考慮IBM和HP兩個品牌
那一個牌子比較多人使用呢?
還有在Miami的維修那一個牌子會比較方便呢?

I use Toshiba laptop bought in Taiwan.
and unfortunately my laptop broken in miami after my one year international warranty.
but lucky in Miami, there is a repair center for toshiba ( near miami international airport)

I remember they also sell IBM laptop there.
maybe you can check their website
my experience is they repair my laptop just one hour.
but costs me 200 dollars....
basically the repair time is quick. and my laptop still work after that...

I think the most people use DELL laptops in US. You can consider about that.

If you decide to bring a computer from Taiwan, it might be hard for you to find warranty over here... Although laptops tend to be a little more expensive in the US, you can enjoy their warranty plans, you can return them as you wish, you can also purchase extended warranty plans if anything happens. Further, if something happens, most stores will check it out for a significantly smaller fee than say... if you brought it somewhere else. You definitely have to take into account quite a few things,although if budget is your main concern, bring a clone from Taiwan... for personal preferences, I recommend Toshiba for several reasons... they are considered the top manufacturers in laptops... their price is significantly lower than counter names... and they have good software associated with the package... check website such as... www.circuitcity.com www.bestbuy.com www.tigerdirect.com www.newegg.com you might find good deals over here.
